DESCRIPTION:\n	One of Rimsky-Korsakov's most popular works\, Scheherazade i
 s a symphonic suite based on One Thousand and One Nights. It combines two 
 features typical of Rimsky-Korsakov: dazzling\, colourful orchestration an
 d a fascination with the East which runs through much Russian music of the
  period.\n\n\nOften called the "Female Beethoven\," Mayer was one of the m
 ost prolific female composers of the 19th century. She composed eight sym
 phonies and numerous orchestral overtures and other works. In the 21st ce
 ntury\, her work has been rediscovered and celebrated for its craftsmanshi
 p\, originality\, and contribution to the Romantic repertoire.\n\nFredrik 
 Holm has been based in England since 2005\, where he has become a multifac
 eted creative force.  His bassoon concerto "Footpaths" was written in 20
 13\; its seven short movements follow the bassoon from darkness to light.
