Following the very successful summer playing sessions in recent years, we plan to hold similar sessions in 2026. These stand-alone evening sessions are open to all.  In particular, if you are considering joining the orchestra but want to know whether you play to a suitable standard or if you will enjoy yourself, these sessions are the perfect way to find out!

Each session will be spent working on a major orchestral work.  Details of the works to be tackled, and the conductor of each session, are still to be decided. Watch this space!

If you aren't an Orchestra member and would like to play at any session, sign up here - you will then receive an email invitation to book for each session.  If you have signed up but not received an invite, please check your Spam or Junk folders

It helps our admin if you book in advance - But even if you just turn up on the night, we'll provide music and a warm welcome!

Minimum age 16.  If the cost is too much, please contact the treasurer - we want you to play!
